Hello my name is Selena mears I am currently a resident at the lunaria house in chapter 22 of Oxford House I am also the secretary for chapter 22 chair officers and in my house I am off to the comptroller and HSC representative I have been residing at lunaria since March 1st of 2026 

Since living and Oxford House I finally found out what financial stability can look like and how I finally have some support especially in a house full of women who have lived the same struggles as me if it wasn't for the support I have within the Oxford House community honestly I probably wouldn't have the positions I have as a chair officer and I wouldn't have finally started talking back with my family I wouldn't have a purpose in life and Oxford House has given me that I can honestly say I have had the most things in my life now than I have ever had groups of people that I can call or message. I think the format of Oxford House should stay the way it is because it's working and it's work for a lot of other people's lives and it's working for me and I love it the self-governing part of Oxford House is why it works so well cuz not one person is above anybody else we're all equal in the house we all share positions we all are on the same level on the same playing field and that's what I love the most everybody gets heard everybody gets a say so if I can just voice my opinion I do not believe that having a paid employee live in our houses would still be the Oxford House motto
