Oxford house saved my life. I am 32 years old and i I struggled with many years of addiction. i am proud to say that iv been clean for almost 3 years now because of oxford house. Moving into an oxford house was the best choice i have ever made. I was able to get a job, get my son back, start school, create new friendships, and learn how to enjoy life sober. oxford house has taught me structure and has given me support, and people who care. And it has saved the lives of those around me. My house mates have come so far in there own journeys and i really enjoy sharing those milestones with them. When i heard they wanted to shut down oxford house i just imagined everything I have accomplished and everything my friends have worked so hard for would just be gone. i honestly could not imagine my life without oxford house and i will forever be greatfull to them for helping me. whoever reads this please do not take oxford house away, it means so much to so many people. it is an awesome community of people. Please do not take away everything we have worked so hard for.
