I understand that the State of VA wants to certify and further regulate the way Oxford House operates. 

The way it operates is not perfect but it is working very well for many folks in recovery. 

Oxford House is affordable now and any intervention that would require raising our rent could dramatically affect so many that the system we live under could collapse! Not to mention any new burdens on the Home Owners that graciously provide the affordable homes we need. Some Home Owners will stop being involved if added regulations or costs to them are added.
