I live in an Oxford House in Henrico, VA. Living in Oxford House has given me a supportive recovery environment where we hold each other accountable and work together to maintain a safe and stable home. The peer support and responsibility of running the house together have helped me grow in my recovery, become more independent, and build a better life. I support rules that keep people safe, but I also believe Oxford Houses should be able to maintain their self-governing and peer-supported model.
