My name is Sidney Storm.Living in the Oxford House has completely changed my life by giving me the stable support system I needed to focus on my recovery. What makes this house so special is that it’s run democratically—we all have an equal voice, and no single person is in charge. Sharing the responsibility of running the home has taught me how to communicate better, set healthy boundaries, and practice true accountability with the people around me. Being surrounded by a group of peers who are all pulling in the same direction has helped me grow in my own wellness while learning what it really means to be part of a supportive community.
