hello I am here to give my comments of why this new law should not come about for the last year. I have lived in an Oxford house and I have maintained my sobriety and there’s no way I would’ve done that in a house run differently the way we have. Here in Oxford house, we are democratic democratically run and fully self supporting and that has done a lot to teach me about accountability and also finances. It has also taught me how to give constructive criticism and receive constructive criticism in has also given me the reason to live. If I were to have to move out out of my Oxford house, I honestly cannot say where that would take me. I am not yet ready to live on my own and stay clean. I am also not ready to live in a house that has a house manager that is not the way I have lived the last year and the way that I have continued continuous year of sobriety. Not only with the new law, change this for me it would change things for my children. I have finally gotten back my relationship with my children and built new relationship with my grandchildren.. I have started working again. I’m getting my nursing license back and I am also volunteering. I’m also giving with service work which was at first required when I moved into an Oxford house but no longer required and I still continue to do so because I know it’s still what helps. Keep me sober.
