Recommendation for Oxford House Model

I'm writing to express my strong support for Oxford House model of recovery housing. Having lived in Oxford House, I have seen firsthand how the self-run, democratic structure fosters a unique and effective environment for long-term sobriety. One of the most significant of this model is the absence of professional staff. Instead, the house is managed entirely by the residents themselves. this structure empowers us to take personal responsibility for our own recovery & for the well-being of the household. by holding each other accountable and working together to maintain a clen, supportive, & drug-free environment, we build the skills necessary to navigate life outside of the house: for me personally the house has been instrumental in my recovery journey. The peer-based support system provided me with a sense of stability, community, and purpose that i could not have found elsewhere. it gave me the space & the accountability I needed to succeed in my recovery, and i have witnessed many others achieve similar growth. I believe that the oxford House model id a vital resource for anyone seeking a sustainable path to recovery. it proves that when individuable are trusted to manage their own environment, they are capable of achievinge incredible personal success.

living in an Oxford House has been a transformative experience for my recovery. the unique model of self-support, which operates without professional staff, creates an environment
