I'm new in recovery and the Oxford House that I currently live in is an invaluable resource. It provides a safe place to live with structure and accountability. Being around other people in the same situation me provides both support and the opportunity to help and support others. The democratic way that the house is run is very good as it is. We don't need paid leaders or the need to be a business. We are self run and self supporting. It doesn't need to be changed or to be fixed. Please leave Oxford Houses the way they are.
