My name is Lindsey Rasmussen. I'm 28, autistic and currently living in a apartment in Virginia Beach. Instead of allowing these communities to accept waivers how about we focus on making SRAP transferable like section 8 because I don't want to be stuck in Virginia Beach forever. I want to live in my own apartment in Arlington right next to DC so I can fulfil my dream of being in a big city with good public transportation, walkability, and job opportunities. My dream is to either work at Sidwell Friends School or the Pentagon one of the top government facilities in the country! It would be so cool to work at those places to me. Accepting a SRAP voucher should not mean your permanently stuck in that particular city. Let's make my dream happen!
