This is absolutely unacceptable to allow dental assistants to scale teeth!!! Because there is a shortage of hygienist doesn’t mean we lower are standards to let this happen. If they want to scale, go to hygiene school. If hygienist want to do fillings go to dental school. I hope you don’t allow this to happen so ridiculous.
