I am against dental assistant scaling. They will not have the proper training and school as a hygienist had to complete to get licensed.  Are you going to cut the training down/ make amendments for a hygienist to do the dentist’s job ?   Will nurses start doing the physicians jobs?, canceling out the years of education it took them to earn the Dr title? We studied and earned our degree and job responsibilities for the best care of the patients. Why would this be compromised?
