Very disappointed with the VA board decisions allowing dental assistants to scale supragingival.  Lowering the standards is not good for the VA citizens.  There are a lot of RDHs available to work, some dentists can’t  hire an RDH because they are under paying the hygienist.  I hope VA dental board reconsiders this decision
