Please review the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the American Academy of Audiology scope of practice for audiologist.  Hearing aid dispensing is within the scope of practice for audiologist, and by virtue of being licensed as an audiologist, a license to dispense hearing aids is redundant and not necessary for an audiologist.
