Duplication of testing for audiologists

I am training to become a hearing aid dispenser  and audiologiy assistant for our practice.  I am studying exactly what all the audiologists already know.  Audiology requires a professional degree that provides the education, training, and hands-on experience to fit hearing aids, in addition to the testing & diagnosing of hearing problems.  There is absolutely no need for them to cover that ground again to get a dispensing license.  In fact, it was a loss of time and money to our practice when our newest audiologist had to take time off to travel to be tested -- again -- on what she's already been doing for years.  Please take another look at this issue, and do away with the duplication of testing for audiologists.
