No dry needling by non-acupuncturists

I am strongly opposed to athletic trainers using Acupuncture needles. Training to become an acupuncturist takes many years, with years spent emphasizing patient safety, comfort, and comprehensive care. Athletic trainers with minimal acupuncture training put everyone at risk when they try to co-opt these specialty techniques. Allowing them to perform invasive medical techniques would be a dangerous and costly mistake.
