Athletic trainers have the knowledge and skills to dry needle. Physical therapist dry needle in multiple states as well as Atheltic trainers. We have been helping our patients and have provided outstanding care. Doctors can do IVs and injections but so can nurses. Are they taking away from a doctor’s profession? No. They’re performing the duties and skills they have been trained to do, just like an athletic trainer. Limiting the athletic training profession isn’t the answer.
