Dry needling is a invasive procedure that requires technique as a licensed acupuncturist. If a athletic trainer has not sufficient education and training as a  acupuncturist, this proposal threatens the public safety. We have many lessons of failure cases of dry needling by nonproper trained practioner.  I urge the Board to reject this amendment and uphold the standards that only well-trained professionals are permitted to perform dry needling.
