I’m not comfortable with the idea of athletic trainers performing dry needling. This is an invasive technique that requires deep anatomical knowledge and extensive clinical training, which is typically provided in healthcare professions like physical therapy or acupuncture. Patient safety should always come first, and procedures involving needles should be handled by practitioners who are fully qualified and licensed for such treatments
