Given their training and knowledge, athletic trainers are certainly qualified to implement dry needling in their practice. Honestly, I feel as if acupuncturists are mostly upset because they have one skill, and they're upset that another healthcare professional can be so versatile and yet still more than capable of completing dry needling.
