I Support This Petition

I see no reason why a resident shouldn’t be able to bill themselves. They are doing the work seeing the clients and therefore are entitled to be FULLY compensated for their time and service. Just because a resident is billing does not mean they are exempt from supervision nor does it mean the standards are being lowered. Personally, I find that those who do not support this are the clinicians that are benefitting financially from residents doing the leg work for their practices aka making 160 dollars a client but only paying the resident 30 dollars. So if you do not support this petition, be honest about why you don’t.
