I OPPOSE DWR REGULATION #6
GPS collars are not guaranteed to work 100% of the time. You may be tracking someone else’s dog that is not yours. There are only 100 ID’s in the GPS collars to where they don’t interfere with each other. When a lot of collars are around the signal goes in and out no matter how close or how far and it may be minutes or hours before you regain signal. Even on a perfect tracking day sometimes these collars track less than a mile. These collars will quit working due to normal wear and tear AT ANY TIME, it’s just apart of modern technology. There’s nothing you can do about it. But hope you find the dog. These units and collars are the most expensive and could impact future hunters into getting in to dog hunting.
