Please amend the regulations so they are based solely on medicine and science and won't impede women's access to essential health care.
Women should be trusted to perform due diligence in seeking out a clinic they feel is up to health and safety standards. Government should step out of the way.
Any legislative action , however slight or heavy handed, has the potential of increasing illegal and often sub-standard abortions. This should be a strong incentive for legislators to leave the regulation of these medical procedures to doctors and medical professionals.
Sadly, it has not gone unnoticed that the majority of legislators seeking to impose unnecessary and costly regulation on women's medical procedures, are male. With all due respect, I would feel uncomfortable if you made your way into the Womens restroom down the hall. Imagine how much more uncomfortable women feel with legislators barging into the female examination room . Unless you're the doctor, husband or boyfriend, you don't belong there.
