I oppose this anti-hunting proposal.  No modification of this proposal will make the notion of "Dog Trespass" a crime and an acceptable legal concept.  DWR has ignored the truth found in their own data and is trying to sell the lie that dog hunters are a problem!  Your policies have driven hunters away, while you chase funding for non-game programs.  The Virginia General Assembly has rejected your proposals as anti-hunting.  You ignore your own information, relying on wild half-truths and unsubstantiated stories to support your agenda.  You are an unelected board that has forgotten where the funding comes from:  the Sportsmen and women of Virginia!  Please reject this proposal.  This proposal singles out deer and bear dog hunters at a time when hunting numbers continue to decline overall.
