You are only targeting deer and bear hound. It's not fair to deer and bear hound owners. What about rabbit hunters, coon hunters, fox hunters, coyote hunters, and house pets. This bill is the same as targeting one race over the other. It's not right  to me and my family that I'm being looked down on because I hunt deer with hounds. James Edmunds is a big cause of the issues we have in Halifax County, calling hound owners out on Facebook making lies up about hounds being on his farms in turkey, bow, and muzzleloader seasons. Yall made the law to have a name plate collar on hounds, but the ones like him will not look at the name plate and find the owner of the hounds just post pictures of hounds on Facebook. Call the name on the collar and find out way the hound is there and maybe you might find some of the problem. We can not get rid of the bad apples without the help of someone with a badge. Me as a citizen with no power will only cause a conflict, and maybe make the situation worse. Animal control want help, game wardens want help, or cops so what am I supposed to do. If this bill passing this state will loose a lot of money for small business owners and places like sunshine mills. 75% of hound hunters will quit hunting all together because it's all they ever knew how to do. I'm tried of hearing every year IM GOING TO SHOOT THESE DOGS. it going to come to someone getting hurt before it's said and done. We can do our best to keep our hounds where they belong and have people stop on our lease land and threaten us about dogs. It's getting old to be considered a low life, and looked down on because we hunt with hounds. I can't even go in a public place with my family without someone having something smart to say about a dog box on my truck. I have 3 boys who love it more than anything in the world. Hound hunting is more about being with friends and family and having a good time than killing. I SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A CRIMINAL BECAUSE I HUNT DEER WITH HOUNDS, AND A RABBIT HUNTER, COON HUNTER, BIRD HUNTER, AND STILL HUNTER NOT BE. IM START CALLING IN AND COMPLAINING EVERY TIME I RUN ACROSS A CORN PILE, HAVE A STILL HUNTER AND RABBIT HUNTER GET ON OUR LEASE LAND. DONT FOR GET THE SPOTLIGHTERS WE HAVE DRIVEN THROUGH FEILDS AND SHOOTING DEER AT NIGHT.
