This regulation kills the sport itself. The hounds are trained to pursue the game and if they are intervened/stopped while doing so, it just confuses the hounds and defeats the purpose of all the hard work and money these houndsmen put into it. I encourage anyone who is for this bill to find a local houndsman and learn more about the sport and how much it means to so many as well as how highly trained and cared for these hounds are. Landowners who move into this area, move here because they love the area so they need to love all of the things about our area and stop trying to change what generations before us have bred into each generation after.
