I’m Chase Bomar, I have grown up hunting with dogs at all angles in Campbell and Halifax Counties. This proposal will jeopardize the dog hunters way of life, and the way we have all grown up. The amount of positive impacts it makes on communities throughout the season is far overlooked, especially such as the financial aspect. Hounds men and women bring a lot of local businesses revenue, not only during the hunting season but also year round. Placing this proposal into effect will be taken complete advantage of, and hurting the hunters. Therefore, hurting everyone around them and the ones they support. I want to see my children and grandchildren grow up the way I was able to enjoying our Virginia Heritage. I want to see this tradition passed down from generation to generation, the same way it’s been passed down to myself. This dog trespass proposal will not allow that to happen. So I ask to oppose this, and keep Hound Hunting in generations to come the way we know it now.
