I am not in support of telehealth for services that involve social interactions such as Community Coaching. The whole premise behind Community Coaching, Group Day support, etc., is to give Individuals the opportunity to develop social and other skills that will allow them to be successfully socially active within their community. An approach to developing this skill is through services offered by a provider that is physically present with the Individual. Actual activity within the community can occur in real time allowing guidance to be offered in real time. What is the plan to support this skill development using a provider that is not physically present with the Individual?
