Inadequacy of EOR Requirement

One of the major flaws in the proposed changes is the requirement for the EOR to be located outside of the home. This condition presents significant challenges, particularly when the EOR is expected to meet monthly with service facilitators. These facilitators inquire about crucial information, such as upcoming doctor's appointments and the patient's health status, which the EOR may need access to or be aware of. This undermines the effectiveness of the EOR's role and raises concerns about the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive medical information. By placing this burden on families to disclose such information to strangers, the proposed changes neglect the importance of trust and familiarity in caregiving, potentially compromising the well-being of the patients.
