I am long time worker in the field on ID/DD and the thought of creating this and putting this stress on parents and guardians is very disappointing. These families have so much to deal with just in an everyday setting. Do you know how hard it is to find staffing at an agency? They already have a million and one clients so why would you force these families to have to go through them and still not get the services they or their loved one needs, still doing the work and trying to provide at the same time!!! This is a joke! you come and walk two days in their lives and tell me they are not the best caregivers for their loved ones.
