Parent and family caregivers.

Please allow parents to continue to care for their children . There are many families who have been doing this for their family for a while now. Most had to wait for them to reach 21 years. Finding an outside sourced worker is hard enough . Finding someone to do as it should be done even harder. At least I know that by taking care of my child everything she needs is done, and done the way she wants it. Some people don't want strangers coming in and doing their procedures. Privacy depending on each independent client is a big thing. Changing routines that are already in place is just as bad as changing faces and forcing a family to switch up isn't fair. When family takes care of their members especially this household we do preventative care. More credit needs to be given to those of us who take care of our loved ones, despite the little that medicaid offers in the first place.  More over this helped plenty of families who couldn't work due to having to care for these members, each case is different my daughter needs 24/hr care, and I am sure there are plenty more just like us. Save the program  and don't let the families down .
