Please make parents as paid attendants under consumer directed services in Virginia PERMANENT! This option is safer, heathier, cheaper, and more efficient for our children. Nobody knows the needs of disabled and medically complex children better than their parents and nobody is more invested in their care. Parents should not be taking time and energy away from caring for their children to find someone else to do it. Please lift this burden and allow parents the option to care for their children.
