The changes proposed for the waivers will make it very difficult for my family. My child is a minor and while he is verbal he isn’t able to tell me if someone hurts him. He also has a feeding tube. Pca’s are not allowed to be alone with him or give him his feeds therefore I will not be able to work. Without the income from the attendant pay I will have to work. I live in pittsylvania county there aren’t any Afterschool programs and there are so few daycares there are waiting list for childcare. There aren’t any options in the area I live in.
