Our family is already struggling to meet the needs of our severely disabled daughter. By taking away consumer directed parent care you will be adding to my family’s already high stress. With the low medicaid hourly wage, it’s almost impossible to find and keep a caregiver. This is cruel and unnecessary to families of special needs children. PLEASE, do not take this away! I have been unable to work full time since our daughter was born (in 2007) due to her level of care needed.
