We need to put the needs of children first!  We should be encouraging loving couples and families to adopt children.  If there is a family, whether it be two moms or two dads who want to provide a life for a child, we should be happy about this.  I have several friends who are same sex couples who have adopted children and they are magnificant parents who want nothing more than to provide a safe and happy home.  I would hope that Virginia would make adpotion an equal process for all couples, same sex or not!  Think of how many children could be adopted and have a home.
