A flurry of lazy comments.  They couldn't even take a few moments to try and put together thoughtful arguments in favor of this variance to preserve their millions at our ever-increasing expense!  Perhaps its less laziness and more so that there are no rational justifications for this unthinkable measure!  Shameful.
