I am a lifelong Virginia Resident.  I work with high needs and at risk children, and everyday I see the effects of having or lacking a family on children's lives.  Two moms or two dads is far better than none of either.

Please realize that this law needs to be driven by the children it impacts.  They deserve the families that are waiting for them, however that family is constructed.  Don't let kids serve as political and ideological puppets.
