Give RGGI the boot

The "R" in RGGI stands for Regional. This alone is reason to end it in Virginia, as it is not in Virginia citizens' best interest. Doing something for the good of the "collective" is basically communism, and the Commonwealth will not thrive with that model. Hearken back to the state flag, Sic Semper Tyrannus, and Virginians should treat RGGI as a modern-day tyrant.

Trading "carbon credits" is a ridiculous means of achieving the state's energy goals. Carbon isn't the evil it has been portrayed to be; it is crucial for all plant life, which thrives when it increases. The charlatans whose climate models claim runaway temperatures due to carbon in the atmosphere have been wrong for decades. These models don't back-test (don't match historical data) so can't be believed to accurately reflect the future! Mother Nature's cyclical trends, such as the 11-year sunspot cycle, are not in these models. Neither are cloud dynamics. The whole premise of carbon as the sole culprit is pure bunk.

Remove Virginians from this scheme to harm current energy producers and enrich those who desire this harm. Kill the RGGI in Virginia!
