The relative savings for VA households pales in comparison to the amount of money Virginia will need to spend addressing the health effects of poor air quality, more severe weather events, sinking coastal lands and rising sea levels. The staff time required to review these comments and report to legislators could be better spent on any number of more pressing concerns.
