Science is defined as study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained.

I apologise for this lengthy but necessary definition. Yet this precisely underlines many of the opinions in contrast to what so many media and expert voices champion daily. The global warming narrative is Not by any long term scientific study proven and therefore not an uncontested fact. How many of the studies that raise questions about global warmings veracity  are included today in the public schools of Virginia and throughout our country.  My wager is none or few as the so called scientific proof exists. Yet even some meterologists have offered different opinions. Maybe the pithy observation and statement  Trust but verify  applies most directly here. This could be why some advisors and those still studying the science are suggesting " pumping the brakes". And I appreciate a governor that is reluctant to follow along where fiscal responsibility remains such an important role in his job.
