With all the science pointing towards rates of climate change accelerating beyond original and alarming estimates, and with action worldwide lagging far behind what was originally agreed upon as needed, why would we consider dropping our participation in a project that actually helps reduce the pending climate disaster?  Does anyone really think that an estimated $2.36 per month on our energy bills is too much to spend to help save the planet?  What will our children have to say about this?  What is their future worth?

I would also mention that this appears to be a purely political move by our governor to attempt the overturning of legislative action over which he has no legal authority.
