When we put carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, we tax our children and grandchildren to fund our own luxuries. We damage their climate and force them to spend huge sums to repair it, when we could spend less today to prevent the damage. Our climate is in crisis. We need to be doing more to bring our emissions to zero as quickly as possible, not dismantling the few half-assed steps we've taken. Putting more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere when we know the damage it does is cowardly, short-sighted, and selfish. I urge you to find the courage to do the right thing by leading the way toward zero emissions.
