Please protect animals that are sold in pet/retail stores. Make the stores follow strict health and welfare standards. Animals that cannot be sold must be turned over to organizations for adoption. Cleanliness standards must be enforced. Puppy mill animals should be prohibited from from being sold. The law must have punishments that will be enforced and not just be a slap on the wrist.
