preserve religious freedom

Faith-based agencies have a right, under federal and state law, to make decisions that are consistent with their religious beliefs, including their beliefs about marriage and family life.  This right must be respected and preserved.  Parents considering adoption as well as those placing their child on adoption have  a right to chose organizations that honor their own religious beliefs.   Honoring and preserving religious freedom for faith-based agencies does not prohibit other agencies from honoring their own beliefs and ideologies; therefore, what works for one side should also be respected and honored for the other without having government placing restrictions on options available.
