I support adoption of children by gay and lesbian peopel, both those in committed relationships or those who are single.  It has been my experience (37 years of teaching in public schools) that gay and/or lesbian parents are loving, supportive, understanding, committed to establishing a environment that promotes healthy, well rounded, accepting and loving children.  

Those who wish to expand their families by adopting should be given the same opportunity to adopt as any other individual or couple.  Establishing strong, stable, and committed families in loving homes should be the right of all.
