Dear Gov. McDonnell and All Concerned Citizens:

As a disabled voter, I am extremely opposed to the idea of throwing out absentee ballots based on poor hand writing!!  Citizens should be encouraged to and assisted as much as possible in exercising their voting franchise.  Many elderly and disabled voters have poor handwriting by virtue of their age or illness.  They still have the right to vote and have their voices heard!  A sincere and thorough effort must be made to see that every vote cast is counted.  Anything less would fly in the face of our democratic process and make a mockery of it.
