I think the cost need to be reconsidered. Every other industry has standards set Nationally. We are finally coming up to speed---from the standards of high school or GED to be a Executive Director.  Every one should understand how financially, morally, medically, and socialbly the industry operates and need a leader to pursue this information.  To have a state test just be another overload in the state of Virginia, who is already at high budget cuts, which effects the industry --state level or the DSS level should not be involved in this area. Assisted Living is considered Long Term Care and should have simple standards all can agree and educate on.
