Since homosexual couples can already adopt through public agencies, faith-based agencies should not be forced to go against their religions beliefs.  God gave procreative powers to one man and one woman together, not to two men or two women, so it must follow that God wants one man and one woman together to raise the child.  Mothers who make the sacrifice to adopt out their children (rather than abort them ) often ask for parents of a particular faith and they expect the private faith baseed adoption agency to keep their promise to adopt their children to people of a particular faith.  Forcing faith-based adoption agencies to shut their doors would mean less adoptions which is ultimately bad for the children.
