Preserve Religious Freedom

In Virginia individual homosexuals can already adopt, and there are public and private agencies that facilitate those adoptions. Adding discriminatory language to the regulations doesn't work. It will not increae the number of adoptions by gays. However, it will end up decreasing adoptions facilitated by sectarian orgaizations which will no longer operate because of violating their faith. It this smart?

The proposed regulation just doesn't make sense except it appeases a highly organized gay community. Is this really in the best interest of the children who will never be adopted because the regulations stiffle adoptions?
