My wife works in the field of child protection.  It is amply clear that spurious considerations like those that these rules protect against need to be kept out of deciding who children will be placed with.  The difficulties faced by the children, the prospective parents, and the agency workers involved are sufficiently great to not add more hurdles and difficulties.  Please put the anti-discrimination provisions back.
