STOP Undermining Parents' Rights.

Once again, I strongly urge the Virginia Department of Health to STOP undermining parental rights & providing links for our children to view that include information that parents should discuss with their children.

Please remove from Virginia School Health Guidelines the Advocates for Youth website, as well as any other links that provide content on sexuality, gender identity, abortion access and similar topics.

Websites that promote campaigns like "Free the Pill Youth Council" and "Abortion Out Loud" are offensive to me as a parent of children in the Virginia public school system. I do not approve of the school system providing this material and/or access to this kind of a conversation to my children.

As a reminder, the Virginia Department of Health cannot promote materials and resources of a sexual nature that could be shared with a child without parental knowledge. That would certainly undermine a parent's right to direct the health and education of their children.
